Angelini Ventures

Angelini Ventures is a global venture capital firm and part of Angelini Industries, a leading Italian multisector industrial group. Launched in 2022 with an initial €300 million capital commitment, the firm invests in companies developing breakthrough solutions in biotechnology, medtech, and digital health. To date, Angelini Ventures has built a portfolio of 24 companies across Europe and North America dedicated to extending life expectancy and improving patient outcomes. In December 2025, the firm expanded its impact through a €150 million co-financing partnership with the European Investment Bank. Angelini Ventures is headquartered in Rome, with a strategic presence in Singapore and Boston, and employs a team of over 20 professionals located across key life sciences hubs in Europe, Asia, and North America.

Kurma Partners

Founded in Paris in 2009, Kurma Partners, an Eurazeo group company, has established itself as a benchmark player in financing innovation to build the healthcare industry of tomorrow. Kurma invests in companies from inception through to growth stages, covering the entire healthcare spectrum through its various dedicated franchises. These have expanded alongside successive funds in early-stage biotechnology (Biofunds I, II, and III), early-stage digital health and diagnostics (Kurma Diagnostics and Kurma Diagnostics 2), and most recently, growth capital (Kurma Growth Opportunities Fund). The Kurma team consists of 25 professionals, including 10 partners, operating across two offices in Paris and Munich. ROM Utrecht Region

ROM Utrecht Region is a regional investment fund that increases access to capital, network and strategic expertise for innovative companies in the region. ROM invests in the major transition sectors that are important for tomorrow’s economy: Life Sciences & Health, Sustainability and New Digital Society. The Startup Innovation Fund (SIF) is partly commissioned by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). SIF invests in companies developing highly innovative technologies who also have the ambition to become scalable businesses and to grow. To enable funding for these companies, SIF co-invests with (private) investors.
